When Humberside Scouts came to us with their idea for a Vietnam badge, we knew we were in for a fun design challenge. Their brief was crystal clear: Union Flag colours (that iconic red, white and blue), a subtle nod to Vietnam, and a badge that their Scouts would wear with pride.
Challenge accepted.
Union Flag Meets Vietnamese Flair
The concept was all about balance. Our first proof blended the bold Union Flag palette with a splash of Vietnamese culture—something eye-catching, meaningful, and uniquely Scouty. The design came together beautifully, and we were buzzing to send it off for their feedback.
Scouting It Up
The response? “We love it! But…. we have made it even more Scouting?” Music to our ears! The final touch was the addition of some well-placed Scouting logos—just enough to tie it all together without overloading the design.
A Badge That Hits Just Right
The end result? A badge that celebrates where they’re from, where they’re going, and the Scouting values that take them there. We genuinely think this Humberside Scouts Vietnam badge hits just right, and we’re proud to have helped bring their vision to life.
