Jamboree26: Sweden Welcomes the World 🌲🌍
The countdown is on! Sweden will host Jamboree26, a spectacular gathering of Scouts and Guides from across the globe, running from 25 July to 1 August 2026 near Kristianstad, in the southern region of the country.
Expected to draw between 10,000 and 15,000 participants, Jamboree26 promises to be a high-energy celebration of international Scouting, culture, and adventure. Whether you’re a seasoned Jamboree veteran or a wide-eyed first-timer, this event is already shaping up to be one for the books.
🏕️ What Is Jamboree26?
Organised by Scouterna, the national Scouting organisation of Sweden, Jamboree26 is their flagship national jamboree, open to Scouts and Guides aged 10–18. But don’t let “national” fool you—international units are encouraged to attend, bringing together young people from all walks of life for a week of unity, outdoor challenges, and cultural exchange.
Activities will include everything from pioneering and kayaking to leadership workshops and climate awareness projects. The campsite will also host global food stalls, international campfires, and shared spaces for learning and connecting.
📍 Where’s It Happening?
The event will be held just outside Kristianstad, a beautiful area in southern Sweden known for its nature reserves and outdoor spaces—ideal for a true Scouting experience. The campsite will be built from the ground up to house thousands of tents, activity zones, and international gathering spaces.
